The winter waifs have wandered North, the summer streets are thinning
The seasons have all run their course, and as the day is dimming
I see the stack of unpaid bills, I study for the test of wills

I love the good times and the sun, the ladies and the drinking
But now I'm always on the run and lately I've been thinking
Have I been paying far too much or have I gone and lost my touch
The price of paradise is just appalling
